Reefing newb
Im working on transforming my current 29 gallon tank into a reef tank...and I really want another fish. I have 2 ocillaris (spelling?) clowns. They are fantastic friends, you cant find them more that 5 inches apart from eachother at a time. Great buddies haha. After a visit to the fish store, I decided that I really like the look of the black clowns. I was wondering if i did pick up a black clown, what the final outcome would be. Would the orange ones bully it for a while then add a third musketeer to their 2 fish clan? or are the chances of that very slim? thanks

boots, the chances of that are 0 lol

the 2 orange clowns will rip the new black clowns to shreds. you can only ever have 2 clowns in a tank. There was a situation where someone had a 6x2x2 tank, and had 2 clowns. He bought three maroon clowns and within 15 minutes all the maroon clowns were dead.

there are many other nice fish out there though! go look at a flame angel, Lawnmower blennies are nice.

It will be a fight to the death! ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED?!?!
