LOL oh, don't worry you'll be changing those rocks soon... i just redid mine after moving... and OH, i just spent the whole morning doing it again... lol. tank looks great! can't wait to see the progress!
 
well just got on after rearranging the rock that I rearranged last night. Still think that rock on the bottom is gonna look better on the top. Yesterday it was in the middle lol:D
 
Well since some of you guys said it was okay to add some Snails and hermit crabs and went a bought some... I also got this little guy a Yellowtail Damsel, the pictures are from this morning.

Congratulations on the first additions.
But like Ted said,keep an eye the yellow tail devil.They can get mean.
 
Nice fish! I have a yellow tail, and I have found that they are one of the least aggressive types of damsels, so I'd say you have a good shot at this guy being passive.
 
I'll give you 50/50 with him being aggressive.
I had a yellowtail that killed EVERYTHING I added to the tank.

I just tested my water again and here are the results.

Ammonia - 0ppm
Nitrite - 0ppm
Nitrate - 0-5ppm

Calcium - 80ppm
KH- 161ppm
Phosphate - 5ppm
 
stop feeding as much food you are adding something to the tank that is making these levels go up.
you can also get some GFO and run it in a reactor it help reduce the levels
how much do you feed?
do you use tap water?
