I was wondering is it beneficial to feed a tang greens to give it everything it needs nutritionally? I don't have any plants anymore from him eating all of it , loves mysis and healthy but never supplemented with any type of greens like algae disks.

Yes, they are primarily herbivores and while mysis will benefit them and they like it, they need greens in their diet to be healthy.

+1 guys,but i also feed both my tang and angel...spinach,brussel sprouts,zucchini,broccoli,peas,and carrots.....

The bulk of a tang's diet should be vegetable matter. You can find dried seaweed sheets at Petco, Petsmart or your LFS. You can also buy a suction cup clip to hold the algae up. I would feed an algae sheet about 3 times a week for the tang.
