Reefing newb
For anyone who has a FLuval FX-5 and is haveing trouble with the microbubbles, (odds are if you have one you've had the microbubbles)
I was having alot of problems with the fluval producing large amounts of microbubbles in my tank, nothing I did would solve the problems, (checked media, put vaseline on O-rings, ect. )
So finally I called Fluval today and they did say there was a problem with the lid and will be sending me a new modified lid that takes care of the problem. So if anyone else is having these problems you might wanna give them a call at 1-800-724-2436. The lid was free of charge and said they would get it right out to me.
Just a FYI as they dont state any of this on their website and were very reluctant in telling me it was a design flaw in the lid. But after about 45 minutes of complaning and saying YES i've already checked or done that , they said it was the lid...
