frag plugs vs. gluing to rock structures.

OK, I have a question on frag plugs. How long should I l keep a new frag on a plug? Do you allow them to stay there forever? Do you glue them to the rock structures? Do you eventually remove the frag from the plug and glue it to a structure? What is everyones best thoughts on this.

Its really personal preferance. I have left my blasto's on my frag plug, but i took my meteor shower off the plug and glued it to a rock. If you leave it on the plug it's fine, if you take it off and glue it, that is also fine....

Yeah i agree, its really just what ever you want to do it will work either way.

the only thing i see is if you want to change the structure of the rocks, then you cant if they are glued to the rovks right? Do you glue the plugs to the rocks?

If you glue the plug itself to the rocks, they are pretty easy to pop off if you want to move them later on. If you glue the coral itself to the rocks, they are difficult to remove if you want to move them later on.

I usually just leave em on the plugs or disks.The frag will eventually cover it anyhow.
