gorgonian trouble..

they call me fish geek ;p
I got this orange tree gorgonian on Saturday. Swiftia exserta. All polyps were extended while acclimating and the first night in the tank. The next day all polyps were closed and have stayed closed since. I have Kent marine phytomax but its prlly 4-5 months since I used it and idk if its good anymore. I out a few drops in and still no extension. It has good flow, bc I can see it moving slightly. No algae on it or anything. Would having it in too much light cause the polyps to stay retracted? Also what foods would you recommend for this guy. I knew I was going to have to feed it twice a day but if the polyps aren't extending then its not eating right?

I never have algae problems b/c I do 20% weekly water changes. I suggest Phy-Feast or Oyster-Feast, both work great!!!
