Hello all.

Newbie here starting his first reef tank. I have had tropical fish when younger but never salt water. Always wanted to try and figured now was a good time since my bearded dragon died and her aquiarium is empty.

I have a 4ft by 1ft by 1 ft 9in tall tank im going to use. Besides the articles in the article section is there any other suggested reading on this site for me before I start asking questions?

Make sure you do a leak test, many of the reptile tanks dont hold water. And i would also check out the stickies in each forum section.

What the consensus on my tank size? Should I sell and go bigger or use what I got?

That sounds like a pretty good sized tank, i think its a 55 gal, which is a great starting size
