help! buying used lights :good deal?:

hi all i am wondering if this is a good deal/idea as i dont know much bout lights. i saw this for sale on creigslist. i am assuming the 48" is for a 55/75 gal tank witch is cool as i am looking at up grading:mrgreen:

Hamilton 48" actinic/halide retrofit kit, includes:
(2) 48" 40W actinic bulbs and (2) 175W mogul base metal halide true 10K bulbs each individually controlled ; mounted in wooden box and can be easily removed from box; works good, bulbs used only 8 weeks; $100 or best offer:question:

That's a great deal. Jump on it if you're in the market for lights. The ballasts alone would run you over 100.00
