Just joined Living Reefs,wanted to fill you in,currently I am teamed up with my sons with a 120g reef tank which we started as a group Christmas present this year. It was started 12/24/09. I am technologically impaired:frustrat: and will leave getting pictures on the site up to my son,when he gets a chance.For now its a 120 wide tank all glass, with a 30g sump with fuge,and protein skimmer, which we made ourselves without to much difficulty. Live rock and sand,corals,fish,shrimp,crabs and snails. Back in the day I had a reef tank but NO WAY was it so advanced as it is today. My son became interested and started with a 30g Nano and was so successful he needed a bigger challange. I would encourage all new reefers to read read read about this hobby it is fantastic endeavor but it can be costly too, but it is worth the return when you become hipnotized while watching the magic.:whoopee!:
