Reefing newb
My return pump's hose has no clamp because the original clamp rusted. When I shut the power off the pump often refuses to restart until I bang on it. While doing this the hose blows off and a geyser shoots up and tries to soak me, causing anyone nearby to laugh hysterically, which sucks by the way. Yesterday it happened and, in my rush to fix it, I knocked my damn refugium light into the refugium while I was elbow deep in there. And I lived some how.
What do you guys use to hold the hose on?
I know I need to replace the pump but its gonna be expensive so I've been holding off. Apparently the sand from my former DSB repeatedly worked its way into the pump and pitted the crap out of it.
