how to mod coralife 125?

ok so someone mentioned about modding the coralife 125,i dont want to chop shop it due to my lack of proper tools but someone was saying about fishing line on the impeller,what is it you have to do to mod that?
and any other mods that dont require tearing it apart? the pump is new with new air filter bottle,no backing up out the small hole in output,anything would help,just would like to know what everyone does

Ah, I have just the trick. You can see mine in my album. Only have a couple of pics, but it has the mesh impeller mod, (fishing line) And the return line is modified.

yea much better,i wanted to see how it was done,does it matter what kind of line i use?

Don't use 50lb test line. But other than that, you should be ok. The line chews up the water and air more, thats what its used for. I actually have double the line on my impellar than what you see in the pic.
