Hi there! I just want to say hello. I have some pictures of my aquarium.
I'll try this and see if it works. The reason I am here is that for years I had a very nice 55 gallon tank. I upgraded some 4-5 yeas ago and have had algae problems ever since. I'm persistant though and feel that if I just hold out and keep trying things maybe it will work for me. I thought I might get some ideas on your site.

Welcome to the site Jan, I would start up a thread in the new to reefing section about your algae problems. We'll need a complete run down of the system including inhabitants, filtration, water test results etc. The more information you can give us, the more helpful we can be - but that being said, algae issues usually come down to one of two things 1) Old / Bad lighting that promotes algae growth, or 2) Insufficient nutrient export
