Light Timing

Hey all,
I'm supposed to be getting my new Oddyssea 20" 4x18 T5HO tomorrow sometime and was wondering how to time the lights. I know it has 3 cords (1x10,000K, 1x420 & 1xLunar) so I plan on running 3 timers.

Here's what I was thinking:
10,000K from 1300-2100
420 from 1100-1500, 1900-2300
Lunar from 2000-1400

What do you think?

I ran my lunars 24 hours a day... The rest of it looks good, though.

I don't think you're going to want to run the 10,000ks on their own...

Should i run the actinics from 1100-2300 then?

It's totally up to you, plenty of people run 10Ks to give their tank a more natural look but, it's going to look a little yellowish. Try it out and maybe you'll like it, if not you can always change it later.

I'd say so... 10k can looks pretty yellow, and it's not like you're cutting down on par using the blues.


This is my cycle and I think it replicates the natural day cycle pretty well: Actinics from 8:30 am-8:30 pm, and white on from 10:00 am-6:00pm.

Yeah, Ill do something like that then, but itll be later in the day. So I can be home to see it.
