live rock questions

I'm with Old tom on this one, I'd never bleach rock, hell, I never bleached dead skeletons when that was THE coral to have in a tank. You're playing with fire using it in any form other than on a non porous surface to disinfect it. You're never going to get it all out, live rock is WAY too porous.

Disease, comes with the fish. If you're that worried about germs, put the rock in a dark tank for a few weeks like I said with massive weekly water changes. If you're close to me, I'd be more than happy to stop by and take a look at the rock and give you an eyes on assessment. I'd be more worried about mantis shrimp or fire worms.
