Maybe another stupid question

The don't look that big, also they look more round. I went back and looked again and noticed some swimming around as well.

When you say they "don't look that big", how big are you talking about? Flat worms are generally around 3mm-4mm in length, so that's quite tiny.
 
Flatworms can be very tiny. If they are flat, like paper, and they are on your glass, and they are somewhat see through, they are flatworms.

They just are smaller than the tip of a safety pin. I got one out and look at it under the microscope I use to check for micro bevels on my razors and the do look like little flea like creatures.

This is exactly what they look like under the microscope, which I found out is copepods:
