Reefing newb
Jus got through aaclimatizing my new bulb anemone and placed him in the tank about middle way down on top of the liverock. I turned out the lights and took off to take care of some buiness when I came back my anemone has dissappeared far down in the depths of the live rock. I was just wondering if this is normal or do I need to dig through the live rock and rescue him ? Thanks for your help

somtimes anemones detach to get a better spot..is the bulb anemone attached to the bottom rocks or is it free??..

Anemones move to where they like it, not where you want them. Unlike other corals and things we add to our tanks anemone's move based on their needs. It should come out to a place where it can get the right amount of light and flow for it. This can take some time and I have lost alot of coral waiting for my anemones to get comfortable. Just wait it out and after it finds a good spot then you can aquascape your corals around it.
