the skimmer is crap it picks up way to much water so im gonna get some tubes to raise it.everything else is good the brine shrimp are starting to hatch already.im still on the 5th book of harry potter but ill get there.fraged a mushroom coral,hmm what else oh me and my dad finally got the 125 off layaway

You should be able to adjust the flow on the pump itself and this will reduce the amount of water - ie you can tune it to be just rght... however the piece of filter pad tube needs to be kept clean / replaced otherwise it changes the performance as it gets clogged up.
