Mystery File: Case of the Roaming Ric

Can rics MOVE??? Like nems ???? I have a big purple ric and she NEVER stays where I put her!!! She always ends up on the far side of the tank against the wall. I have put her in 3 different spots, and she always ends up right back there. Yes I'll leave her there since apparently it's her preference but it still begs the answer..... Can rics move ?!?!

Mushrooms do move. They can let go of what they are holding on to and just float away.

Yep, they can detach. I don't think they have any control over where they move.

I had a Ric self-frag a week ago. It was a single polyp when I got it and then it slowly seperated into two. It was attached by a thread when I cut it in two. I glued both frags to a little rock.
