I just started a tank, I just purchased my first coral (Dragonfly) its just a frag. I also purchased a piece of live rock, that unbeknown to me, still had some living Brain coral on it. (maybe im lucky cuz i paid really low for the piece) its mostly dead BUT I want to try to keep it alive. I have a 20 gal long tank. with one light thats 20 watts. I just found out that in order for the Brain to even have a chance at a comeback.. I need more light. I guess my question is are these LED lights UV lights? and if not.. then does it REALLY matter the type of light that you us or just the amount of light you use(wattage)? can I use multiple UV lights or just a large wattage of lights to keep it healthy atleast until I have the ability to purchase a better lamp?
