I have an ETSS Evolution 750 (this).... it was skimming very well for months, then I had problems with flow getting to my sump. When I fixed the sump several weeks ago, I also took apart the skimmer and cleaned off the goop. I rinsed with tap water, then dried the pieces with paper towels. Since then, the skimmer bubbles, although not as well as it used to, and the skimmate is almost clear water. I've messed with the amount of water the pump sends in, and it doesn't seem to be affecting the quality of skimmate. My manual doesn't offer any helpful suggestions. Anyone got any ideas for what might be wrong? Thanks in advance.
