This is my 55 gal, with a Korilia 3 850gph & an Evoultion 750gph. The 850 is on the left pointed up at the water giving it a good ripple, and the less intense 750 is on the bottom right flowing behind the rocks. I have messed with these on either sides, and there is a small green and red algae bloom. Are these in a good spot?
I did have snails that all died but one. I picked up a liquid phospate kit reading 0, or pretty (after a 10gal water change) close and my nitrates were in the 15-25ppm range. Nitrites are 0. The tank has only been established 5 months or so. Is this last bloom normal to expect?
