pump size

The 75 I'm looking at tomorrow has a left corner overflow. The guy had a wet/dry and used a mag 9. I'm not planning on using the wet/dry but rather a 20 long maybe. Is the mag9 overkill or just right?

The guy is selling the pump but don't know if I need it. it's 2 years old and he's asking 50 for it. I need to use my 800s octo but need to find a tank it will work with for a sump

Thats barely over 10 times an hour turn over. 20 times an hour is a solid base rate for a successful reef aquarium. I wouldn't buy that pump..

Sorry, I know thats totally shameless, but hey - if you can't use the pump I sure as hell need one. $50 for a Mag9 ain't a bad price. :Cheers:
