can some 1 help me..... i need to figure out how many gallons of water i have in my refugium area i figured it out to be 48"x8"x11" of space the water ocupies.

about 18 gallons not taking into account displacement caused by sand, rocks etc.

plus i have an area thats 10.5 " x 20 " x 9.5 " how many gallons is that? is there a website or something or general rule of them so many square inches is a gallon?

that area is about 8.5 gallons

take your L x W x H divided by 232 = gallons
