scrape aquarium w/ razor

I failed Kobayashi Maru
I forget...is it safe to scrape off dried muck on a glass aquarium with one of those metal scrapers (the kind you can use to scrape stickers off a window)?

I need to clean this new tank that has driedmuck all over it, but I was avoiding having to wet it since I can't put it right side up. The bottom has 2 pre-drilled holes w/ the piping sticking out. I don't want to unscrew it.

The Dustinbot must be lagging ;)

Yeah, it's a thick a$$ glass tank. I figure I'll get as much off as i can (I'm not going anywhere NEAR the silicon, after what I went through to lift this damn thing....ok, more like, what I went through guiding the people lifting it to the corner...hehehe). Then I'll go over it with salt and water.

I've used that type of scraper on glass and be careful! If you hold the razor scraper at the wrong angle it can scratch the glass.
