How often should I physically clean the collection cup? I empty it about every 4 days and the nastiness is getting thick in there. I woulda cleaned it already but the smell always makes me think twice lol. Thanks

Skimmer clean up

I clean mine when ever the gunk gets too think. It seems, atleast to me, that the gunk helps the skimmer do its work.
I just tank it to the sink and use the Mrs. tooth brush to scrub it out under running water. That helps keep the stink down.
j/k about the toothbrush, I don't use the Mrs., I have an old one use just for the tank.
