snapped off the couplings on my maxijet

so um, i accidently snapped off both plastic pieces on my maxi jet that holds the covering for the impeller, leaving the impeller exposed. can i use plumbers tape to wrap it up, or use superglue to bond the covering to the pump? blaaah!

I use gel based super glue to mount frags all the time. Give it a shot. of but a maxi jet mod.

If you glue the cover back on,you wont be able to clean it out.Dont know if the plumbing tape will hold or not.
6 of one 1/2 a dozen of the other I guess.

Like you Yote said, you will have a hard time cleaning it which will become necessary eventually. If i were you, I'd just buy that spare if im thinking of the right pump...
