Some old frags, new camera

I've been shopping/researching for a while now for a new camera and finally picked it up today thanks to a sale on base. I'm still trying to figure out the settings, and I'm saving up for a nice macro lens but, here are a few of my test shots so far.

Geez I totally forgot, I was torn between the D300s, D90, and D5000 ... in the end I went with the D5000 and I'm pretty happy

I haven't seen it but, I heard about it, it's supposed to be the replacement for the D90.

Other than the fact that the D5000 is probably more than enough for my needs, I also went with it because the few hundred dollars I saved is going to go towards either an 85mm or 105mm macro lens in the near future.

It should be similarly priced to the D90 so around $800-900 for the body only

My dad has a D90, he sometimes lets me use it, but It's waaaay to complicated for me lol. I wish they would come out as great as those shots...
