String on glass

I cannot identify my new current growth. It looks like single threads about a half inch im length attached to my glass. They are fine like spiderweb and attached at one end and they just flow freely in the current. Thy are so fine that a camera will not even pick them up. There are tons of them all over my glass

are they attached to a dot like thing on the other end? It sounds like a vermetid snail. If the webs are bothering anything you can super glue the tubes shut

Could also be digitate hydroids. Look at this video. Do they look like this?

not totally sure what that is, but it looks like the slime track my nass snails leave behind on the glass

It's been there longer than my Nass snails have. Did you watch the video? It's stringy and hairy. Lol

They come back pretty quickly. My also looks to be fuzzy with mini versions of the same crap
