trumpet coral placement

beano

habitual reefer
I have a single trumpet coral polyp in my tank for about a month. he seems happy but I don't know how to tell. I have him about 6-7 inches under T5s. at night he puts his little arms out. I might be crazy but I feel like he might be bleeching around the edges a bit. is he getting too much light?

parameters are nitrate 0
ph 8.1-8.2
79-80 degrees
1.025

I haven't spot fed until yesterday he ate a brine shrimp

If its opening up and showing feeders at night, that means its happy.
On the bleaching, you'll have to post a pic before we can answer that one.

sorry its fuzzy cause iphone cameras are junk. also please ignore the nasty algae.

thanks yote. i am hoping he does well, the spot i put him in would look really nice with a few trumpet head growing out of it. i also have a thing for buying small..i like to watch things grow.

i do the same with house plants...and dogs
