What would be the absolute best type of light to use for coral, anemones and fish? I am looking to buy a replacement lamp for my setup here and I have the following options:

6700K Daylight
6700K/10,000K Daylight
10,000K Daylight
460NM Actinic/10,000K Daylight
460NM Actinic
460NM Actinic/420NM Actinic
420NM Actinic

I was thinking of using a 460/420 lamp so that I can get a broader UV spectrum for the anemones and coral but I was afraid that it may burn my fish because of too much UV. I was also told that 420NM light is the best for photosynthesis in corals. Any ideas?

IMHO, 10,000k daylight.

And then you would probably want to supplement that with some blue for visual reasons.

What you listed sounds like PC bulbs. If you want the absolute best then I would at least switch over to T5-HO instead.....4 bulbs or more and individual reflectors.

If this is the common 4 lamp PC fixture.I would do 2-10k/420nm and 2-10k/460nm.
