wierd coral

brown skin /teal skeleton anyone?

That's a tough one. I am going to have to agree with little fish, probably a Horn Coral. has it been that color the whole time you've had it or has it changed?
 
I agree -- it looks like an encrusting hydnophora (another name for a horn coral). The color is not healthy looking -- it should be a minty/bright green.
 
its always looked like that and its growing like that. it started the size of a dime now its covered the disc and growing downward. the brown tentacles sometimes disappear but that was high phos. when i got my phos down it has really taken off. any reasons why it may look like that? all params are pretty much smack on to everyones except salinity its 1.025 taking it slowly to 1.026. when the brown goes away it does look minty green on the skeleton
 
Did you purchase this? I've seen similar corals but usually in green... and I can't remember the name. Sorry. :)
