you really don't have much of a choice but to wait. they starve after about 3 weeks, so go ahead and give him time. try a variety of foods like emerald entree, marine cuisine, etc. good luck

today the clown took in about 4-5 pieces and spit them out, is this a good sign?

they do that. they comsume and break it down and spit it out, only to consume the smaller pieces again. Kinda like chewing. great sign IMO

Rod's food is some of the best stuff out there.Maybe try cyclopeeze if the clown is small.Besides that,I have no idea.

maybe try frozen reef plankton, they make a smaller size for tiny fish

probably poop. watch it for a while and it should just drop off. may take a day. my clowns will let it hang out for a while, almost like a frat contest during pledge week
