Will this light work??

I found this light on ebay, I have a 29 gallon tank and woudl like to get into some corals at some point, I know its cheap but it fits the budget for now

I would look into getting one with atleast 4 t5 HO bulbs. with that one, you would be limited to probably just some softies like mushrooms.

I know the 29 Gallon is hard to find lights for. I had to make custom brackets out of pvc pipe in order to make a 24" fixture fit on mine.

That light says for freshwater, did you note that?

Sorry for that let me edit. I think you can change out the pink bulb for the blue one for salt. I think that light will get you started but if you want corals you will quickly outgrow it.

I will always say spend your money on equipment long before coral so save up the money never go cheap . I think this is the biggest mistake people make in this hobby.I know its hard to spend money on equipment because we all want coral to look at.Trust me ive lost a 25,000 system just because I didn't want to buy a 6$ check vale, it will pay off in the long run and the coral you do get will have a much better chance of survival.
