Just about everyone has zoa's at some point and they are usually not the showpiece corals of any tank. So lets show off what you got and post all your crazy colorations and fancy names (or anything pretty or not)! Love to see what other people have. (I'm sure my stuff is nothing special). Make up your own fancy names!

I submitted a few to ZoaID and had them accepted...one of my favorites were my Pinwheels...

That's a few of the ones I've had through the years, but I have also had a few of the "designer" morphs...
 
very nice (esp the pink one)! wow, didn't realize there was site for this. my names are totally made up btw :)
 
I have several zoa's just don't have a decent camera to take a nice picture. Your pics are amazing....I'm working on the camera issue.
 
I don't know what any of them are called and i have trouble taking any of the names seriously since people just seem to make them up. :lol:
 
unlike people making up names for anything else.....

People make up names for everything.....if anything has a name a person made it up at some point....

Maybe it's because there are soooo many color morphs that it gets confusing when they are so similar but you will see what looks like the same color with different fanciful names. Zoas became a "designer" coral. The rarer morphs have some insane per polyp prices. So people started attaching all kinds of funky names to them. IME, zoas are completely different than other coral like Acropora when it comes to the naming. But yeah, i don't tend to keep track of the names. They are lavendar zoas. Now if I was going to SELL them.... ;)
