Yeah, groupers should not be in anything except aggressive fish only tanks and only large ones at that.

Trax, sorry about your fish, I would suggest finding a place that would take the fish instead of killing it in the freezer.

Yes yes it is. Of course now it's difficult to get grouper with the federal ban still on some species. :frustrat:

Is the ban just in Florida waters or the entire gulf?

Were trying to figure out somewhere to go on vacation.But its got to involve grouper fishing.:D If the ban is just in florida,then I might take the family out toward Texas.I been wanting to show the kids what Houstons like any how.

I don't know about the Gulf, but over here it's all federal waters. Not all species of grouper but most of them :(
