Sniffles 29G

Here's a few new FTS', a shot of my new lobo, an updated pic of my elegance (I <3 my elegance) and a pic of the side of my tank, it used to be TOTALLY covered with coraline but the long spine urchin has been bustin his ass for me.

thats NICE!!! I wish my tank looked like that..I hate being soooo new to this hobby

Thank you! It takes a lot of hard work, patience and persistence. Your tank will look just how you want it one day.

I'm actually pleased with the FTS, for once.

I'm headed to either Juicy Corals or World Wide Corals tom. afternoonish. I just realized that there are a lot more fish stores around here than I thought. They're both a little bit of a drive, 30-45min or so, but they specialize in coral. So hopefully i'll come home with something nice tom. I'll keep y'all updated of course. :D

Oh yes, you know I bought something today! So I'll get straight to it.

Picked up an 4 head frag of Smuckers Micromussa, an 8-10 head of a Superman Micromussa and 3 polyps of True Red PPE's

Also, sorry for the double post of the elegance pic.

Coral update: the Smuckers and Red PPEs are doing great. The Superman Micros didn't look so well so I placed them under a rock in the shade. They started perking up a little before I left for school.

So I just went back through my build thread and the "then and now" difference is stunning! I kind of miss the simplicity when I didn't have so much stuff, but once you start buying things you can't stop! Sadly I see the pics of the pieces that have failed and it makes me wish I still had them, although I'm sure the feeling would be shared by all in that sense.

Just thought I'd share my moment of reminiscing and I encourage others to do the same. Take a trip back to your tanks "baby" days, the struggles and battles have made us into the aquarists we are today!

I took a trip it was very far though:mrgreen:

It is amazing though to see everyones tank has come together. As for buying, I have put myself on probation for now or until I go the LFS again:mrgreen:

After my scary leak incident I've got everything back in my tank, no loss of fish but I lost 3 corals; 2 micromussas' that were recovering and my blue tort acro. Here are some pics of the new setup. I've added about another 15lbs of rock but I've created more sand bed, which was badly needed.

Thx cage!

I'm expecting my stand in tonight so I'll be putting it together, drilling everything back in; power strip, controller, etc. and then hopefully making an easy transition from my dinning room table to the stand tonight.

In other news, I had NO idea that serpeant stars were asexual! I was moving my Red PPEs up in my tank and before I grabbed the frag off the sand I thought I saw something glide across the top of the sand onto the plug. Although I think I see a lot of things durin the day, thx LSD. When I picked up the plug I saw a tiny white baby serpeant star hugging the polyps, I was like "Holy s**t" then I had my g/f confirm that I was actually there. I tried to grab the camera in time to get a pic but it had vanished and who knows when/ if it will ever emerge again. Totally cool though.
