    Well, I was able....

to sell my LR, fish, snails, crabs and chaeto. I now have a 125 gal tank with very little sand in it and a little water. I am planning on using my wet/dry vac to clean out what is left in tank. How would you all suggest I clean the glass of any residue from sand?

    Selling my 125 gal

I need advice in a different direction now. I have to tear down my 125gal setup. I will see if a local shop will buy my fish. Once I remove the live rock, rinse it out and pack it up, it will die, right? What would be the correct process for possibly trying to preserve it or is there a process...

    Selling my 125 gal

It has been a rough 3 months. My husband was being very challenged by his health but he got tired of battling and passed away on Nov. 2. He was my inspiration for many years and many things. I have many situations to handle without him and I feel I need to sell my tank, live rock, some fish and...

I am planning on moving my 125 gal FOWLR into another room of my house. It is in the kitchen and has been there for about 2 years. I want to move it into an office that is right next to kitchen. The office has hardwood flooring. I would like to not ruin the hardwood flooring by having the salt...

    checked salinity

No, I didn't! Dang! I have some algae on back wall of tank but not a lot. I figured the algae came back a little due to the lights being on full force. I have a water change scheduled for next Wed. Should I do it sooner?

    checked salinity

Yes, I contacted aquatraders and purchased from them. Only $49.00. I figured that was a decent price instead of fumbling around with getting it checked out by the store. Since I don't have coral in my tank, only FOWLR, it didn't affect the tank except it did lower the algae growth in it. Which...

Aquatraders is where I get mine. I have had their 1134W for over 2 years, no complaints.

So my understanding is that I will need to buy the insides and wire it up and put it back together? You don't live too far from me. Any local electric stores you can refer me to?
