i now have 2 clowns,2 yellow tail damsels and 1 puffer.my ultimate goal is to end up with a regal or powder blue tang and a yellow tang and the clowns and get rid of the damsels and the puffer. will these be compatible. I didnt want to start with the tangs because i am a newbie.

Ive been feeding with frozen brine shrimp and marine flakes.My nitrates are a little high and ive doing water changes to bring them down.what should i feed them?

i recently bought a coral banded shrimp and for 2 weeks it has stayed in the back corner of the tank hidden behind some rock.he has not moved.it is alive and seems fine but never leaves his spot.is this a normal characteristic of these shrimp?

Notice a green algae forming on my rocks after putting on new pc light fixture on my 30 gallon tank. Could it be from the light being to powerful? It is a 2x 95w. Tank is about 1 year old. Everything tested normal. Here are some pics.

its probably 2 or 3 times louder than the fan on my computer. I can hear it about 15ft away. The tank is about 4 feet away from our couch and i can hear it while watching tv. This may be normal but the product claims it has a whisper quiet fan and i just thought it would be a little quieter

i bought a new light for my 30g today. Its a 36" dual satellite PC 2x96 with built in fan. The fan seems to be rather loud...well not too loud but enough to bother my wife while she is watching tv. Are all these lights like this or did i pick a bad brand?

yes i agree with you on ridding of those fish especially the puffer but for now it looks like im in the hunt for some quality lighting. Thanks for the help guys.
