    Puffed Up Eye Problem Spreading

I'd like to keep them if they aren't likely to cause all the other fish to get sick and die too. From a purely money point of view I'd rather lose a pair of 2 inch fish than the 8 inch ones. I'd never seen a fish going from lopsided to the point of not being able to swim to fully healthy again...

    Puffed Up Eye Problem Spreading

I have 3Bicolor Anthias amongst other things. Two are definitely a pair. The third we actually "lost" for a week when relocating the tank and it didn't look like it would survive. Then about a week ago one of them got a really puffed up eye. A few days later two of them have puffy eyes...

    white golf ball like ?sponge?

I know a lot of threads i yellow fuzzy balls as sponges and I think I have one of those but there's also a bigger (about the size of a quarter) white ball that is not fuzzy but almost has a spiderweb pattern on it. Are they both sponges? and are they harmless? I know the aiptasia is not but...

    Captive Breed Mandarin not eating

It took us five days, over 8 hours and the eventually dissasembling and removal of half the rock in order to catch the six line wrasse that was in there so the lawnmower benny we added could come out of hiding from where the wrasse had cornered it. So I really hope we don't have to do that...

    Captive Breed Mandarin not eating

He came with the tank and we're told the newest addition to the tank was 6months ago. I don't think there's a fuge although i don't know what one is. There's the main tank and two protein skimmers off the back and that's it. It certainly looks like he's nibbling at something on the rocks...

    Captive Breed Mandarin not eating

I've never seen pods in the tank, certainly not on the glass like wes' video, but I've never looked for them before. We do put frozen food in the tank every few days- would it not be smart enough to start eating that if it couldn't find pods? (Its actually my dad's tank, we bought it off...

    Captive Breed Mandarin not eating

I'm still really new to this and am rather confused by all this. We have a mandarin dragonet (looks just like yours) and its active and appears healthy enough. But I was under the impression they ate algea and stuff off the rocks which is why they need to be in established tanks. I know...

Where to get Replacement Lunar Lights

The tank we bought came with a Current Outer Orbit HQI T5 HO light fixure with 3 sets of 6 LED lunar lights (3 white and 3 blue), two of the sets only have one working LED. Does anyone know where I can buy a replacement LED panel or if its easy to replace individual LEDs on them? Thanks

please help-sideways clowns, surface film, AiptasiaX,

Ammonia 0, pH 7.8 Nitrite 0 Nitrate 20-40 temp 80 none of the books or test kits tell me what level Nitrate is supposed to be at other than low, I'm guessing its too high? I'm going to get the water tested by the fish store tonight to see if those values are accurate. There is a yellow tang...

please help-sideways clowns, surface film, AiptasiaX,

There is 0 ammonia if I tested it correctly. This is probably a dumb question but all the other test tubes have white spots of dried stuff on them, what do i clean them with that won't affect the test results-just tap water? There are no anemones in the tank the person we bought it from says...

please help-sideways clowns, surface film, AiptasiaX,

I'm new to this, its my dad's tank not my own and I thought we were going to start up a reef tank over the course of months not buy an established tank- so now I'm playing catch up. I don't know if I have the start of a major problem on my hands or just some stressed fish and could really use...
