When I do my water changes I tend to over shoot my salinity at times becuase the instructions on the instant ocean bucket are not accurate. which is a pain becuase then I have to make RO/DI all over again and start from scratch.

I have the same problem with my clown. I turn the moon lights on and hes swimming all over the place as soon as I turn the daylights on he goes to the back of the tank and swims on the top. I have also read that clowns like cooler waters 78 to 79 degrees.

I think its still part of our tank breaking in. I just recently had the same problem and it all went away by its self. If you are using RODI water for water changes, not overfeeding and your lighting is on point you should be good.

don't know about the skimmer but I have the HOB fuge on my 30 gallon and its great for breeding pods and keeping nitrates down.

Aiptasia X has been working great except it clouds the water a little. I had about 6 aiptasia and it killed them all.

I was refering to putting water back in my tank during water changes. How would that work with a maxijet. isn't that a flow pump that just pumps air.

currently I'm pouring the mixed water straight into the tank because I can'tmake a siphon. The tank is higher then my pail of water and Idon't have a submersible pump to pump water back into the tank. Wen I pour the water tend to sir up sand even if I'm being careful. Anyone have any ideas?
