should i have gone with 20k I wasn't sure i think 14k will be better i have 4 39 wat strips of t5 white blue i think this is a good choice for an uprade do you agree?

I hope so I want to have my montis grow faster I hope this does the trick I am stuck on having red purple and green grow together i think it looks amazing but I have had small amounts of growth with t5

do you think swithching to metal hylides is going to be a stupid choice my tank is kinda working well

I think you will see more growth with Metal Halides than with T5s. Is your new fixture a combo MH/T5 or just MH alone?

I think that you'll be fine with the metal halide alone.
I have heard that 20K will give the least growth and 10K will give the best. Your corals will look the best under the 20K (blue lights) but would have better growth under the (whiter) 10K lights. I tried to find a happy medium, so I went with the 14K.
