Brittle Star too big??

Reefing newb
I have had this guy for a couple of years and I'm afraid he may be getting too big for my tank. I have a 75g reef tank and the Brittle Star is about 13" tip to tip. Besides being big, I fear he is eating anything that is slower than he is. Snails and hermits are dissapearing like crazy!

Thoughts???? I'm thinking it's time to take him to the LFS and trade him, or sell him.

Wow, he is huge...try scooping him out at night...just place some food along the front of the glass when the lights go out and wait for him to come out. A starfish that size will definetly take out your other critters.

Wait till you pick it up. They get stiff as a board. When I mail ordered mine they sent me an extra one. It was at least that big. I gave it to a friend with a 240. I would see what you can get for a trade

Well, the sucker is being very camera shy. :grumble: As soon as he comes out, I'll take a picture. I have the camera sitting by ready to go!
