Cleaning Crew

Hey Guys,


Another "uneducated" question for everyone. My cleaning crew is in and doing a fantastic job on the algae that has begun to grow. So far I have two emerald crabs, two blue legged hermits, two left handed crabs, three red scarlet crabs and a halloween crab. Heres my question though, who eats the crab poop, or do I suction it out?

Get a brittle or serpent star. They'd handle that for you!

OK. Sounds good. What about their poop though?

You don't need to suction any poop out. Your system will take care of itself! You should have live rock to help with that. And you will have plenty of detritivores like pods and bristleworms that come in on the live rock. If you have a good skimmer, that will help even more.
