Coral Banded Cleaning

Put a coral banded shrimp in my tank probably a good 1 1/2 or 2 inches big tail to mouth no claws. Trying not to overestimate, watched him clean the tomato clown today, was a little nervous as i saw him coral the fish with his "boxing" claws, but then he just started to pick stuff off of the clown with the smaller front arms. I was really impressed and one of the first times I've seen this happen in person really cool.

Yeah,they do clean,but they also pinch and rip fins and may eventually try to kill/eat some fish...I had one for a year or so ,and he was ok for a few months ,then started to notice a lot of my fishes fins ripped...

I plan on it, I know they can get aggressive but with only once fish in the tank for him to go after, im not to concerned yet. I have plans to remove him and the current fish within a month or so as I will need to tear my tank down to build it back with more sand and rock and replace both inhabitants with ones I find more appealing and more friendly.

coral banded shrimps can be a pain. generally peaceful but they will cut your fish up once in a while.
