Just picked up my red sea max yesterday,i will add livestock from my 10 nano into it, but i need a good clean up crew. the tank is almost three and a half times bigger(34 gallons). i have 1 margareta, 4 astrea snails, 2 blue hermits, and an emerald crab, need some more stuff! it currently isnt set up nor cycled. also im n ot going to add them all at once, just to clearify.

I would get half a dozen more astraea snails, a brittle or serpent star, and about a dozen nassarius snails for the sand. A turbo snail too if you have algae problems.

about how big do brittle stars get?

Pretty big. Normal ones are about the size of your outstretched hand. Some can get to be the size of dinner plates.

I would start with one and add another later if you wanted.
