Apr 27, 2010 #3 ltkenbo Reefing newb I was thinking about tapping the return line from my Mag drive 7 pump, would this work?
Apr 27, 2010 #4 d2mini Reef enthusiast Ya, just have a small shut off valve so you can adjust flow. If the gfo tumbles too much it will break down. If it doesn't tumble at all it will solidify. So i've heard.

Apr 27, 2010 #6 Reefrookie Not so new anymore! +1 dennis.....I would use a separate pump on the reactor just for ease of maintenance and less clutter in the sump

Apr 27, 2010 #7 ltkenbo Reefing newb I just finished glueing the plumbing, I actually fixed some things I didn't like about the old plumbing, it's not cluttered in the sump though.
