First Algae issue for me...

Murph

Reefing newb
My tanks been up and running since January and everything's gone pretty well. I noticed in the last few days what seems to be a real short filmy looking algae growing pretty much everywhere. I'm wondering if it's the start of a hair algae breakout, or what. I tried to get a picture, but it's kinda hard to see. It doesn't have much color yet either. Can anyone tell what it is from the pic. I tried to highlight some spots where you can see it. I also noticed it seems to be growing on the snail shells too. I started with mostly Marco rocks which started showing Phosphates in the water right away. I'm running GFO and Carbon currently. Tested the water this evening and nitrates were zero and phosphates with a hannah checker were .03...

The tank inhabitants are 5 turbo's, 10 trochus, 8 or 9 hermits, and 1 foxface...

I can't really tell if it is algae or not...from your inhabitants it should be taken care of shortly...if not than ya might have to do it the old fashion way with a scrub brush
