Reefing newb
Hello all,
Does anyone have experience with GRECH submersible uv sterilizers? They have a built in pump and filter for water circulation but I have only used the external type. My Coralife turbotwist died and I need to replace the unit. The other thing that I am curious about is the power of the bulb itself. The Coralife used a 9w for my 110 gallon reef tank. I also have 20 gallon sump for this tank. The GRECHs seem to have two power types: a 9w and 13w, both with a G23 light base. But, the 9w are given a limit of a 75 gallon tank...Why would it be different? Would it work okay to go to a 13w as I do seem to have a chronic algae problem? Very interested in your thoughts on this especially if you have direct experience with these or similar units. Thanks.
