ok, so I have finally decided to do things right (tired to fight brown algea)...

I have decided to purchase ro/di unit.... There are two types... (as far as I have seen)...

1. Cheaper with three filter thingy...

2. twice the price - 5 filter thingy...

I need this unit for reef aquarium only (don`t need for drinking or anything :D ) .... anyway, here are my options:

a) Aquareus - online marinewater specialist

c) Reef Home Drinking Ro Di Dual Output Reverse Osmosis Pure Water Filter System | eBay

You need the DI stage...For reefs you want 0 tds that means RODI first two listed are only RO

Why do I need TDS?

TDS stands for "total dissolved solids" A reading of 0 indicates pure water. Having a TDS meter allows you to know when your filters need changing. This would be when the TDS starts going up. If you don't know this, you will just be changing filters at a recommended interval. Not really knowing if they are still working or quit working months ago.

Is this Reverseosmosis ok? It is in Dutch, so You probably don`t understand (but neither do I (completley) :) ) . It is 50 gallons per day WITH DI filter and TDS meter?... SO I guess, it will perfect for my reef? correct?
