I got hairy corals?

Lol I have hairy corals so this is a quest to scubb my corals I'm picking up a bucket today. Just wondering is it safe just just brush this hair with a comb na jk can I remove it with a tooth brush or do I have to force myself to make a stop at my local petstore ?also one other question I picked this cube up from a hobbiest that didn't have any use for it . My question is on the back panel I have the regular purple circles going, on this it has white blotches from the aftermath of scrapping and cleaning. Does this mean it was tap water with a mixture of some sort added? Or just not tap water and a pro mixture was run? I'd like to scape this off just like to know if it's going to throw off a substence and mess up my ph etc?:sfish:

The coral I have has been moved to my 29 gallon it has small whites hairs. One small piece is coverd with green algey which normally is towards the back wall of this nano tank. As for the white stuff looks like the pink line around the sand line.

White hairs sounds like dead/dying algae. You can pull it off with tweezers.
